She completed her academic musical studies at Conservatorio S. Cecilia in Rome and undertook a concert activity with various instrumental teams performing opera, symphonic, chamber music and ranging over classical, contemporary, sacred and pop music. In contemporary music she has been member of the chamber ensamble Piccola Accademia degli Specchi, performing minimalist and post- minimalist music by Michael Nyman, Terry Riley, Morton Feldman, John Cage, Philip Glass, Louis Andriessen, Steve Reich, Wim Mertens, Giovanni Sollima, Erik Satie, Matthias Kadar, Andrè Caplet, Ravinale, Mirenzi.

As principal cello she perfermed the Musical La Bella e la Bestia – Teatro Brancaccio, Rome. As soloist she recorded the soundtrack : “La ragazza del mondo” Bolero Film Italia 2016, “Il Regno” Fandango 2020, “The Bunker Game” Eagle Pictures 2022. In 2014 she recorded “The swan” with the Symphony of the Americas, Florida. The disc has been produced and distrbuted in the united States. 

She recorded soundtrack for composers such as Nicola Piovani, Ennio Morricone, Lorenzo Turchi-Floris, Marco Frisina, Pasquale Filastò, Ludovic Bource, Giorgio Mirto , Dusan Bogdanovich, Giuliano Traviani , Bruno Zambrini, Lino Cannavacciuolo In pop music she collaborated with Tony Renis, Eros Ramazzotti, Rossana Casale, Gino Paoli , Anna Oxa, Coez.
She performed in “live” shows of prose and poetry with Paola Gassman, Mariano Rigillo and Claudia Ricatti. She collaborated with the Accademia D’arte drammatica Silvio d’Amico performing in various theatrical shows that took place in Teatro dell’Orologio and Teatro Keiros, Rome.

Since her principal passion has always been chamber music, she is part of QuartettOrfeo string quartet since 2013. This ensemble has always been focused on making the best out of all the beauty around, meaning: concerts, concert lessons, collaborations with various artists, recordings and a lot of experimentation. Since 2014 they are principals of the Orchestre Symphonique du Mont-Blanc, France, they recorded the album “Alter Epoque” with music by Umberto Smerilli, recorded for Brilliant Classics a tribute to Astor Piazzolla, “El Otro Astor” and have been invited in Florida to share music and music lessons in various schools and auditoriums in all Broward County.

Since 2013, Ilaria is member of Musicfor International through which devotes much of his musical activity to the support and development of music in disadvantaged areas in the world building music schools, purchasing musical instruments, provisioning scholarships and the realization of chamber and symphonic orchestras. Thousands of children have thus the opportunity to approach music and broaden their perception and their perspective on life.

She plays a Guido Maraviglia made in Pistoia (Italy) in 1977.
