The flood that recently hit the Liguria Region has caused disasters that have involved thousands of people, who now live in very difficult conditions. 

For this reason, the Italian Chamber of Deputies turned to Maestro Lorenzo Turchi-Floris, in order to organize a charity concert at the Palazzo Montecitorio in Rome, as an act of solidarity with this unfortunate population.

The Associazione Grandi Eventi “Il Cherubino“, in collaboration with Musicfor International, support the initiative entitled “IO CI SONO. Insieme per la Liguria”. 

Maestro Lorenzo Turchi-Floris will perform music by Liszt and Rachmaninoff, and will accompany the soprano Carolina Ida Domenica Mattioda in pieces by Verdi and Offenbach. The guitarist Alessio Nebiolo will perform pieces by Paganini, Albeniz and Rodriguez. 

On this occasion, the painter Paolo Veneziani will exhibit his paintings. At the end of the evening they will be sold.

Thanks to the commitment of His Eminence Cardinal Angelo Bagnasco – guest of the evening – the profits of the evening will be donated to works in favor of the flood victims.
